Sander Haccou (1970) was born in Groningen but grew up at the countryside near Vorden in Gelderland. In 1990 he went to the  Rietveld Academie where he was trained as a sculptor. In 1995 he was awarded with the Rietveld Graduation Award. Sander Haccou works on a personal oeuvre of narrative video’s, sculptures and photographs. Currently he is busy with three continuous themes :  the Initials Project, the Amsterdam photo weblog and Family drawings
